The Austin Zoo

You now when you have a break during the school year for a week and don’t know what to do? Well, that happened to me over thanksgiving break this year. My mom had the idea to the Austin zoo. I had been there before but not for a LONG time. So I thou

ght it would be fun. The Austin zoo is a rescue zoo that takes care of animals that have been injured and can no longer live in the wild. I personally like this zoo better than HUGE zoos because even though they might not have dolphin shows, or gift shops on every corner,there animals are a lot more active! One time I went to the Minnesota zoo and I only saw a few animals up and walking around. (And that zoo is HUGE!) I saw every single animal wide awake at the Austin zoo. They really do love the attention! So, if you are ever in Austin, Texas I suggest you go to the Austin zoo. (Pics will be up soon!)
